What we examine.
We audit construction sites, precast concrete plants and operational facilities. What matters is not only whether policies exist, but whether they are genuinely applied in day-to-day work.
1stFirst-party audit (internal audit)
Carried out by the organisation itself or on its behalf to establish the current position. We conduct the audit with an independent, external perspective – for example ahead of certification, following an incident or as a regular health check.
2ndSecond-party audit (supplier audit)
A client assesses the HSE standards of a supplier or contractor on site. We carry out the audit on your behalf – for example at subcontractors, precast plants or suppliers – providing a sound basis for procurement and supply-chain decisions.
3.1Culture & processes
We establish whether policies exist only on paper or are genuinely applied in practice – through interviews with managers and the workforce and through observation on site.
3.2Risk control
Identifying workplace hazards and deficiencies in machinery, chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
3.3Documentation
Review of HSE documentation for completeness, currency and implementation:
- Risk assessments
- Safe working procedures and operating instructions
- Training and briefing records
- Legal register
3.4Site inspection
Assessment of actual conditions on the ground:
- Work equipment and machinery
- Fire safety and escape routes
- Hazardous substance stores
- First-aid provision
3.5Emergency arrangements
How well prepared is the operation for an emergency?
- Fire and accident drills
- Functioning of emergency showers and eyewash stations
- Fire extinguishers: provision, access and inspection
3.6Incident management
Review of accidents and near misses, and of whether the corrective actions taken have been implemented effectively.
3.7Audit report
A clearly structured report with HSE findings prioritised by risk, photographic evidence and specific recommendations. On request, we verify implementation in a follow-up audit.
